A day of many posts.

Today at clinical (our last day at this clinical facility--hallelujah!), my patient was gone, so I got a new pt. That was fine b/c it changed my daily routine. The day was pretty slow though. At one point, we were all sitting around trying to think of a name for my new puppy. We were going through the alphabet (which is trickier than you'd think, as I just established in a another post) and Leslie kept throwing out names. I told her that I didn't want a sissy name, since New Puppy will be a big boy dog when he's grown. I also like 2 syllable names so that when you call the dog, his name fits just right. So she threw out several names...

Harley

Dobby

Chaco

Baxter

Cody

Barton

Clipper

Dakota

Then she said, How about Patch? I replied, "That's not a 2 syllable name." She laughed and said, "Sure it is, you can just yell, 'Paaaa-aaaatch'"

Only in the south can 1 syllable words become 2 syllables without even trying.

Feel free to keep the voting going. We also thought of:

Max

Ace

Durango

I'm open to any input you have, but sorry Sam, Rebel just didn't make the cut--I think I'd name him Princess first! :) It would be heretical (or something) to name my dog Rebel! :)

Stay tuned...

Well Chaco, Harley, Dakota, or Durrango have my stamp of approval.

Harley is a cat name; I like Ace, Astro, Rascal--how about any of those.

you should've named him "Fire." That's a good solid two-syllable name.
